WIOA Dislocated Worker: Serving Qualified Individuals Under Correct Titles
Description = This block of training will go over the most current Federal and State of Illinois guidance around WIOA Dislocated Worker Eligibility requirements and demonstrate how all the various Dislocated Worker eligibility criteria is captured within IWDS. In addition, this block of training will discuss a trend where the number of individuals who have been getting served under the WIOA Dislocated Worker titles have significantly decreased in many parts of the State and identify possible solutions that could be helpful in serving more qualified individuals under the WIOA Dislocated Worker program.
Who
should attend: The target audience for this session are the frontline LWIA/WIOA
state-wide grantee staff who work the WIOA Adult and Dislocated Worker titles,
and who use Illinois Workforce Development System (IWDS) as the Management
Information System (MIS) to create records. In addition, individual who work at
the Local and State staff providing monitoring and/or provide oversight of the
WIOA program.
