Three Z's Advanced Leadership
Three Z Printing set out to strengthen its leadership by providing supervisors and emerging leaders with practical tools to support their teams better. Many leaders had deep technical knowledge but limited formal training, so the company launched a targeted IMEC leadership development program focused on communication, coaching, handling conflict, and building trust.
The training was hands-on and tailored to real-world production-floor situations. Leaders practiced new communication techniques, learned how to structure feedback conversations, and gained strategies for motivating teams during high‑pressure work periods.
Within a short time, supervisors reported feeling more confident and equipped to lead people—not just manage tasks. Teams noticed improved communication, clearer expectations, and a more supportive environment. Departments began working together with a stronger shared approach, creating a more unified leadership culture across the company.
