Dominic Gyamfi-Adu (aka Kwaku) Success Story
During my internship with Destiny Outreach and WVON Radio, I had the opportunity to grow in ways I didn’t expect. The program exposed me to a strong mix of creative, technical, and professional skills, deepening my interest in media, journalism, and entertainment. From learning how radio production works behind the scenes to developing communication and storytelling skills, every experience helped shape my confidence and understanding of the industry. It was more than just an internship—it was a space where I could explore my potential and lay the foundation for my future.
I’m deeply grateful to the entire Destiny Outreach family and the team at WVON for their support, patience, and belief in me throughout the program. While I faced personal struggles that sometimes affected my ability to show up consistently, I was still met with encouragement and understanding. That support meant everything, and it motivated me to keep pushing forward. This experience taught me not only professional skills but also resilience, accountability, and the importance of community. I’ll always carry these lessons with me.
