After earning my degree in Public Relations, I joined the apprenticeship program at DO!, where I was placed at My Block, My Hood, My City to gain direct exposure to the entertainment and media industry. Through the program, I participated in behind-the-scenes visits to major outlets like WGN-TV and Central City Productions, where I observed firsthand how productions are developed and executed. I also explored podcast production, gaining insight into digital storytelling and how content connects with audiences across various platforms.
These experiences helped me strengthen my communication skills, expand my industry knowledge, and build confidence in navigating entertainment spaces. The apprenticeship helped me grow my professional network and clarify my career direction in public relations. As a result, I am now actively pursuing opportunities in entertainment PR, influencer relations, and event production, equipped with hands-on experience and a clear path forward in the industry.
