Concepcion “Connie” Gonzalez’s journey reflects both growth and leadership through her continued partnership with Clune Construction. Since beginning her employment last April, she has steadily built a reputation as a dependable and skilled professional on the job site. Her commitment to excellence, attention to detail, and strong work ethic have allowed her to thrive in a fast-paced construction environment.
Through Revolution Workshop’s coaching and training, Connie developed not only technical skills but also the confidence to take on greater responsibility. Over time, she transitioned into a leadership role, now serving as the main lead for participants in the PPP program during their job shadow days with Clune Construction. In this role, she guides trainees through real-world tasks, models professionalism, and encourages them as they navigate their entry into the trades.
Her experience has come full circle—moving from trainee to mentor—demonstrating the lasting impact of workforce development programs when paired with strong employer partnerships. Connie’s journey highlights how consistent support, opportunity, and determination can create pathways not only to employment but to leadership. She continues to inspire new participants by showing what is possible with dedication and the right support system.
