During Cohort 3, I successfully leveled up my skills by transitioning from fast-paced freelance event editing to handling complex corporate workflows and a much heavier project load. My biggest technical challenge was condensing a dense, three-hour corporate upfront event into a meaningful 10-minute cut-down. Working behind the scenes showed me the true value of corporate marketing and pushed me past my creative comfort zone.

However, my greatest lesson came from a difficult reality check. After moving back home, I fell behind on several projects while trying to balance family responsibilities and a grueling two-hour commute without a car. Because I didn't proactively communicate these struggles to my supervisor, I fell short on my commitments and was let go from my apprenticeship early. Losing this opportunity taught me the hard way that when life gets overwhelming, staying silent is not an option. True professionalism requires real-time accountability, and I am walking away from this experience with a much deeper understanding of how to manage my time and communicate transparently with my employers before deadlines are missed.
