Credentials Earned: The student obtained a pharmacy technician license by completing a work-based learning program. Throughout the program, the student engaged in valuable learning experiences, including job shadowing in a pharmacy, completing training modules, and observing lab demonstrations.
Program Details
Zahnya enrolled in the Pharmacy Technician Program with Des Plaines Valley Region in June 2026.
During the program, she gained hands-on experience with medication safety, lab procedures, and prescription dispensing and labeling. With the support of Loyola University Medical Center, Zahnya completed a work-based learning experience at a pharmacy and earned a Pharmacy Technician License.
This accomplishment will allow her to take the next step in her licensure and then apply for positions at pharmacies such as Walgreens or CVS. We can't wait to hear what she does next!
