Program Details

Natalie enrolled in the Pharmacy Technician program with the Des Plaines Valley Region last summer. During the program, she gained hands-on experience with prescription safety, medication handling, and inventory management. With support from Loyola University Medical Center, she completed the program and earned her initial Pharmacy Technician license.
Recently, Natalie reached out to the Des Plaines Valley Region to share that she went on to work as a research intern for CHESS. Natalie stated, "Through CHESS, I worked with my mentor and other members of a lab at UIC, directly participating in a research study they were conducting. At the end of the program, I was given the opportunity to present my research with others at a symposium."
