Darrin Johnson
Program Details
Darrin has shown a strong commitment to his employment goals by staying engaged with employment resources, even though he is not eligible to enroll in the Workforce Development Program at this time.
During a telephone follow-up on July 1, 2026, the Employment Navigator reviewed Dar’s current housing status and program eligibility. The Employment Navigator determined that Dar is currently participating in the Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) program, which makes him ineligible for enrollment in the Workforce Development Program under current funding guidelines.
Rather than allowing this eligibility determination to become a barrier to his employment goals, Darrin remained receptive to alternative opportunities for professional development and employment support. He was encouraged to continue attending Workforce Development and Employment Readiness Workshops, where he can access job-readiness instruction, employment resources, and information to help him prepare for future employment opportunities.
Darrin acknowledged and understood the eligibility determination and expressed appreciation for the opportunity to remain connected to employment resources through the workshops. His willingness to continue participating in employment-focused activities demonstrates motivation, perseverance, and a continued desire to work toward greater employment stability and independence.
