Program Details

In February 2026, Mr. Jihad Muhammad enrolled in the Angel of God Resource Center (AOGRC) Illinois Youth Investment Program (IYIP) and began HVAC training through Bliss. Motivated to build a career in a field where family members already work, he stayed focused on completing his training and preparing for employment.
While attending Bliss, Mr. Muhammad also earned his GED, strengthening his educational foundation. In March 2026, he obtained his OSHA 10 certification through AOGRC, gaining workplace safety knowledge to complement his technical training.
On August 15, 2026, Mr. Muhammad successfully graduated from Bliss. He subsequently secured employment with Four Seasons in Bedford Park as a Service Technician, conducting house calls for maintenance and repairs.
Mr. Muhammad’s achievements demonstrate how determination, education, occupational training, and program support can help participants move toward their career goals. His transition from training to employment marks a meaningful step toward an HVAC career.
