The Hope Center Foundation has been a big help in getting me started on my journey to become a forklift driver. Since the first day I walked in, I was treated wonderfully by Tamela Hughes, a warm, welcoming, helpful staff member who helped me get from ground zero of no job; minimum wage wasn't cutting it, and bills to pay were beginning to pile up, but now I'm on my way to start looking for a better-paying job that will help me straighten out life problems and alleviate others. Throughout this process, Ms. Hughes never really left my side to "figure it out." We have been working well thus far, and my experience here has been positive. I am grateful to be here and to have been given such an opportunity.
