Program Details
My name is Fernando De La O Garcia. I thank the Quad County Urban League for the Youth Career Pathway program as I am grateful for this program. Not only did I get a great opportunity to improve my professional skills, but I also learned to build connections, network with new people, and learn the best reward you can get from life is not money. Instead, it is the knowledge you gain after going through such a great program. I realized the knowledge I received is the power to succeed at anything I set my mind to do.
Now, I am a confident person when it comes to my work ethic and responsibilities. I experienced a tremendous change in my mindset. I recommend Youth Career Pathways programs to anyone who needs direction to choosing the right career path or career change. Even those wanting to continue school should try this program before entering the experience.
