Isaac Jester entered the Wabash Area Development, Inc. office in the fall of 2022 to enroll in the Career Education program. He sought assistance for the Welding Program offered at Southeastern Illinois College. Isaac applied to the Welding Program at Southeastern Illinois College and was accepted. He successfully completed the 2-year program with all A's and B's in his classes. Isaac received his certificate in the spring of 2024. Shortly after graduation, he started working as a professional welder with BWXT in Mt. Vernon, Indiana. Isaac is grateful for the program's support in paying for his tuition, books, and transportation to his classes.
