Andrew Hileman is currently working as a delivery driver for Budweiser in Carbondale. He began his career there in March of 2025. Before coming into the WIOA office in December of 2024, Andrew had a seasonal job spraying for mosquitoes in towns and villages around his hometown of Olmsted. With a wife and two young children to support, he decided that working a few months out of the year and drawing unemployment the rest of it was not what he wanted. He started his truck driving training at Shawnee Community College in January 2025 and received his CDL on March 7 after maintaining an A in the class. A little over two weeks later, he was interning with Budweiser. After getting high marks on his internship, Budweiser offered him a full-time job. Andrew had previously thought about going through the CDL program in 2023, but family issues prevented him from doing so. He was very thankful the opportunity came around again, and he was able to complete his training and obtain a good-paying job with secure employment.
