Program Details

When I first joined the program, my main goal was to sharpen my skills in production. I didn't have much prior experience, so I was excited to learn the ropes. At the time, I thought the program would be all about technical training and production processes, but it turned out to be so much more.

Beyond the production workshops, we also had to go through DO! training (provided by Destiny Outreach), which I wasn't expecting. This training covered a variety of topics, including financial stability, resume building, and hearing from industry professionals about their career paths. We also learned about the many different jobs available in the industry beyond just production.

This training opened my eyes to a wider range of possibilities and taught me the importance of staying committed to a process, even if it changes. I especially enjoyed hearing the success stories from people who had to pivot their careers. It was a powerful reminder that it’s always okay to change your course, but it’s never okay to stop trying.
