Program Details

Being a part of Destiny Outreach's apprenticeship program and being placed at Central City
Productions (CCP) was a truly enriching experience. During my 8 weeks at CCP, I had the
incredible opportunity to work on the pre-production of the Stellar Awards. As a student majoring
in Computer Information Systems, I initially wondered how I would fit into the film and
entertainment world. But thanks to the program’s many professional and personal development
training sessions, I felt well-prepared going into my worksite placement.

I have gained hands-on experience and learned that there’s a place for me in the film and
entertainment industry, especially with my interest in data and technology. This program has
instilled in me the power of finding my dream, fighting for it, and fulfilling it. I also gained industry
insights from established professionals such as Danita Patterson, Don Jackson, and many
others in the entertainment industry. Thanks to this experience, I am more confident in
combining my technical background with creative industries, and I have a clearer vision for my
future career.
