Program Details

Payton, an Elk Grove High School senior, is gaining hands-on experience through the apprenticeship of the Prospect Heights Park District. From maintaining equipment to problem-solving alongside full-time staff, he’s learning valuable trade skills, teamwork, and responsibility that go far beyond the classroom. Every day on the job helps him discover new strengths and see what a future career in the trades could look like.
