Outlook
Demand for chiropractors will increase as more Americans are drawn to alternative forms of medicine. In addition, interest in complementary healthcare has led to more acceptance of using chiropractic treatments for the back, neck, and limbs. As a result, more health insurance plans now pay for chiropractic treatment and more chiropractors work with other healthcare workers.
As the population grows and ages, there will also be an increased need for treatment. However, this is a small career and few new jobs will be created.
