Recreation Attendants - Preparation

To work as a recreation attendant, you typically need to:

  • complete short-term, on-the-job training.

On-the-job training

Almost all recreation attendants learn their skills on the job from an experienced worker. During training, you learn:

  • customer service;
  • recordkeeping; and
  • policies and safety procedures.

Training lasts up to one month.
