Interpersonal Relationships
- Have a high level of social contact with coworkers and patients.
- Communicate with others daily using e-mail and in person. They also talk over the phone or write letters and memos, but less frequently.
- Are very responsible for the health and safety of patients.

- Must be very exact in their work so patients reach therapeutic goals.
- Make decisions that greatly impact other assistants, therapists, and patients on a daily basis. They make most decisions without talking to a supervisor.
- Often set daily tasks and priorities without consulting a supervisor first.
- Must meet strict daily deadlines.

- Work a set schedule each week.
- Work part-time or full-time. Most work full-time.
