Proprietary schools, colleges, and universities all offer this program. If you want to study at a proprietary school, you can prepare for this program of study by completing your high school degree or getting a GED. If you want to study at a college or university, you can prepare for this program by taking the following courses: four years of English, three years of math, three years of social studies, and two years of science. Some colleges also require two years of a second language. You will take many of the following courses if you are preparing to go to a college or university. But no matter what kind of school you want to go to, you should take many courses in the physical and natural sciences, math, and computers.

Many schools will also require you to take tests to make sure your reading, writing, and math skills are appropriate. They may also test you on your general chemistry, biology, and algebra knowledge.

Other requirements might include:

• Good scores on the American College Test (ACT) or the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT)
• Letters of recommendation
• Personal interview
