Educational and Instructional Technology - Helpful Information

Things to know

Many schools require students to own a computer and appropriate software.

Studying educational media design usually involves teaching experience. Some programs include teaching internships. However, other programs require that you have experience before applying for admission.

As mentioned above, some programs offer only a few courses in educational media design and not an entire concentration. In those cases, it may be helpful to supplement your studies by taking additional technology courses. You can take technology courses from proprietary schools, colleges, and universities.
