The programs in the medicine and medical services subcluster teach people to work as doctors of conventional and nonconventional medicine. This includes traditional medical doctors you might see in a hospital, as well as those who practice acupuncture or naturopathic medicine.
Conventional medicine refers to "allopathic" medicine, which treats specific problems without considering the body as a whole at the same time. The programs in this subcluster, however, teach students to treat health problems as part of holistic, or whole-body, approach.
Acupuncture and naturopathic medicine programs teach students different methods to do so.
