Interpersonal Relationships

  • Have a high level of social contact with patients and coworkers.
  • Mostly communicate in person but occasionally use e-mail, talk over the phone, or write memos.
  • Are very responsible for the health and safety of others.
  • Frequently deal with conflict situations and people who may be rude or angry.

Physical Work Conditions

  • Mostly work indoors and occasionally lead outdoor activities.
  • Often wear safety gear, such as gloves, when working with patients.
  • Work very close to others, they come into close physical contact with patients on a daily basis.
  • Are often exposed to diseases and infections from patients.

Work Performance

  • Must be very exact in their work so that patients learn as much as possible.
