Things to know

Working with radioactive atoms means exposure to radiation. Part of this program involves learning the proper safety procedures to protect yourself. Following these procedures gives you an excellent chance of avoiding danger. And as an extra precaution, you wear a badge that keeps track of the amount of radiation to which you've been exposed.

For your clinical assignments, you're responsible for your own transportation as well as your uniform, shoes, and name badge.
