Program Description

This program allows students to pursue ELA instruction and credit certificate instruction simultaneously. Central Sterile Processing Distribution Technicians are responsible for performing and participating in the decontamination, cleaning, sterilization, assembling, packaging, scanning, storage and distribution or reusable surgical instrumentation and equipment. Students who successfully complete the program will be eligible to sit for the Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (HSPA) Providional Certification Exam or the Certification Board of Sterile Processing Technicians (CBSPD) certification exam. This program is free of charge to qualifying participants.
