Program Description
This AAS degree program prepares students to enter the early childhood education field as a lead teacher in a childcare center and also prepares students for transfer to a 4yr university to earn a Bachelor's degree and Professional Educator License to teach in a public school. Students acquire the skills, knowledge and attitudes to work with infants, toddlers, preschool-age and school-age children.
