Program Description
This course will instruct students in the responsibilities of Laboratory Assistant/Phlebotomist, including but not limited to the following: obtaining blood, obtaining urine samples and other bodly fluids for testing, diagnosis and treatment of disease. This course requires the student to become familiar with all aspects of venous, arterial and capillary blood injections, vital signs, infection control, safety and more.
