Pharmacy technicians have a variety of responsibilities, depending on State laws and guidelines. Technicians receive written prescriptions or requests for prescription refills from clients. They must confirm that all information on the prescription is complete and exact. They will learn about different drugs classification, side effects, safety, HIPAA, medical terminology and more.
