Program Description

The program consists of 91 hours of comprehensive theory and 40 hours of clinical practice. The students will be trained on the fundamental nursing skills for them to be able to provide basic personal care to patients with with chronic conditions and disabilities, alzheimers or those recovering from illness and injury. The students will learn the skills and behavior to effectively interact with clients with emotional, mental and social sensitivity. After the completion of the course, the student will be eligible to take the Nurse Aide Competency Exam.
