Harper College's Office Administrator MOS+ eBookkeeping+ Interactive Web Design program documents your comprehensive knowledge of key software applications utilized in the business world and benchmarks your skill level to your employer. Learn how to keep accurate and current records about business financial activities with the most widely used accounting and spreadsheet software programs. Program curriculum also presents a wealth of technologies to aspiring web developers interested in creating and maintaining interactive websites. Also, this program covers popular web design techniques using core web programming languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript; along with front-end frameworks. Other course subjects include: Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook, Digital communication skills, QuickBooks, Bookkeeping Boot Camp, and requires the student to pass the Office Administrator and Interactive Website Design Portfolio workshops. Plus, this program helps prepare the student for three Microsoft MOS exams. Prerequisite: Introduction to Microsoft Windows or equivalent experience and must be competent working in a PC environment.

Application Procedure

WIOA and TAA students need to contact the Harper College Workforce Coordinator at (847) 925-6782 or WIOA@harpercollege.edu. A separate book voucher is required for Follett Bookstore #1341 on campus. Books can be ship if requested for a small fee. Each semester, all Cook County WIOA sending agency case managers must supply the Harper College Workforce Coordinator with a Semester Training Schedule Approval Form that lists the courses the client will be taking that semester, and this must match the client's Harper Educational Plan.4 The maximum tuition and fees amount approved for this occupation is $8,000.
