Program Description
The Tukiendorf Training Institute offers the Hemodialysis program for individuals who want to work in the rapidly growing healthcare field. Hemodialysis Technicians work in hospitals, free standing clinics, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, long term care facilities, private homes and for home healthcare agencies.
This program is designed to train Hemodialysis Techncians in the basic skills necessary to perform hemodialysis functions and to be efficient and effective healthcare team members. This comprehensive porgram is designed to provide the student with basic hemodialysis theory and practical and clinical experience and to work in a variety of environments. Classroom instruction and practicals will be held at Tukiendorf Training Institute and the clinical portion will be held at local dialysis centers.

Application Procedure
1. Bring WIOA information and meet with a staff member. 2. Provide and complete training provider exploration form. 3. Submit High school/GED diploma. 4. Sign and date student enrollment agreement. Physical exam form must be completed by the student's primary care physician or another qualified healthcare provider. The maximum tuition and fees amount approved for this occupation is $8,000.

- Language - HS Level (10.0 Casas Test Score)
