Program Description
The Project Management Professional (PMP®) Exam Prep Course offered by Northern Illinois University is designed for candidates preparing for the PMP® certification exam administered by the Project Management Institute® (PMI®). The globally recognized PMP® credentials are a highly demanded in today's global marketplace. This comprehensive program of study utilizes a blended approach to learning and requires participation in face-to-face, interactive classroom sessions blended with independent study and completion of online learning activities and practice exams. This program aligns with PMP exam Content Outline (ECO), covering the current (PMBOK®) Guide and key project management concepts. The 5 PMP modules are: Business Environment; People, Process 6 Design; Process 6 Constraints and Process 6 Managing and Closing. This course satisfies the 35 hour educational requirement noted in the candidate eligibility requirements www.pmi.org. This course may also be useful as professional development for project managers who do not intend to sit for the certification examinations.
