Graduates of this program know medical
terminology, medical law and ethics, and
pharmacy math. They understand the theory
of pharmacy practice. Graduates can receive,
interpret, input, and fill prescriptions, and can
use software programs to complete these tasks.
They can perform pharmacy tasks in retail and
hospital pharmacy settings. Graduates value
the ability to effectively communicate in a variety of situations, honesty and integrity, compassion for patients, and patient confidentiality.
