They know medical terminology, anatomy, pathology, and basic concepts of administrative procedures and health information management. Graduates can perform medical records management, scheduling, insurance verification and billing, and general medical office administrative procedures. They value the ability to impact the patient experience through effective communication, maintaining patient confidentiality, and ethical and professional behavior in the healthcare environment.
