Program Description
The Social Services-Addiction Studies AAS Program focuses on Social Work-Addiction Studies philosophy, knowledge-based, and practicum field instruction experiences. The program offers an opportunity for students to major in a generalist practice-oriented sequence which is directly related to the delivery of social services-mental health from a global perspective. The major objectives of the Social Services-Addiction Studies Program are to prepare students to function as generalist social work-mental health practitioners, to begin a career in social welfare services advocating social justice for all. The program is accredited by the Illinois Alcoholism and Other Drug Abuse Professional certification Association (IAODAPCA).

Submit online admissions application (applycredit.ccc.edu), complete financial aid application (www.fafsa.ed.gov), complete placement test (math: my.ccc.edu), residency verification: as proof of residency, the student must bring a current State of Illinois Driver license or a State of Illinois State ID; meet with college advisor (my.ccc.edu); new student orientation (ccc.edu/orientation); obtain your student ID in room V-132, and purchase textbooks at CCC Online Bookstore (ccc.edu/texbookx). Any admissions questions or concerns, please email Admissions at: (kkadmissions@ccc.edu) Important Note: ITA voucher Must be submitted within 3 days of registration to avoid classes being dropped from the system.
