Program Description
Students may become an Emergency Medical Technician - Paramedic by completing the 13-month Emergency Medical Technician - Paramedic certificate program. It is a very fast-paced, intense certificate program. It prepares the student to provide initial patient assessment and management of care for the ill and injured from the pre-hospital setting to the emergency or hospital care environment. Courses include classroom instruction in theory and demonstration and clinical experience in simulated and real emergencies in local trauma centers and in the field.
