Program Description
Certified medical assistant help physician by performing administrative and clinical duties. They help prepare patient for doctor's consultation, take vital sign, like blood pressure, pulse, temperature,weight and height. Perform blood draw and electrocardiogram (EKG). The medical assistant program prepares the student for an entry-level position in the medical field as a multi-skilled medical assistant, front and/or back office assistant in clinics, hospitals and doctor's offices. Medical assisting is projected to be one of the fastest-growing occupations. The program includes classroom, laboratory, and clinical experiences. The college will provide and free of cost Externship to all his students at there affiliated Externship sites. (Those who are completed the program sucessfully). College reservesn the right to assign a student to any available affiliated clinical center for the clinical externship. Externship is unpaid and the hours of attendance are determined by the Externship site is available.

Admission requirements and procedures: Certificate Programs
An applicant must be at least 18 years old and provide proof of having earned a high school diploma, certificate or other proof of graduation from an accredited secondary institution or the relevant equivalent of such graduation; e.g. a GED certificate. As there may be adittional program-related requirements, please refer to the specific program description for details.

.Submit a copy of photo identification
The maximum tuition and fees amount approved for this occupation is $8,000.
