Program Description
The Medical Assistant program prepares the student for an entry-level position in the medical field
as a multi- skilled Medical Assistant, front and/or back office assistant in clinics, hospitals and
doctors offices. Medical Assisting is projected to be one of the fastest-growing occupations. The
program includes classroom, laboratory, and clinical experiences.
Radiographic/ X-Ray (Limited) program the term limited radiography designate a new occupation
emerging within the radiological sciences, or it designating a skill level within the radiological
sciences consisting at limited radiography tasks performed by a myriad of workers in medical office,
clinics, ambulatory care centers and home diagnostic companies. Limited scope radiography is
representing a mobile X-Ray unit. As an individuals who operate radiation producing equipment
coming under State and Federal guidelines and regulation that address the establishment of minimum
educational standards, competency testing and continuing education.

Admission requirements and procedures: certificate programs, an applicant must be at least 18 years old and provide proof of having earned a high school diploma, certificate or other proof of graduation from an accredited secondary education institution or the relevant equivalent of such graduation, GED certificate. As there may be additional program-related requirements, please refer to the specific program description for details. Following is the procedure for admission: schedule an appointment with an admissions representative, submit a copy of photo identification, submit a proof of high school graduation or equivalent. The maximum tuition and fees amount approved for this occupation is $8,000.
