Program Description
This course includes 240 hours of instruction. Those hours consist of: 90 hours of classroom, 80
hours of remedial time, 20 hours of observation, 24 hours of yard practice, and 26 hours on the
road training. The 240 Hours Program covers all the aspects of the 160 Hours and the 200 Hours
programs. The training provides detailed training objectives in handling a combination vehicle
and is recommended for people with no experience in using a manual transmission. This is the
most beneficial and comprehensive program and is designed to make an easier transition into a
new trucking career. The program satisfies Federal requirements regarding Entry Level Driver
Training.

Application Procedure
All of the testing and school materials are provided by the school. To register the school the potential student must bring a valid IL Drivers License, Social Security number and the voucher provided by WIOA. The maximum tuition and fees amount approved for this occupation is $5,000.

- Language - Basic Skills
- Prerequisites - Valid Illinois Drivers License, must be 18 years of age or older
