Program Description
Students will receive: Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) Word Certification, Microsoft Office Specialist(MOS)Excel Certification and Intuit QuickBooks Certification. The purpose of this certificate is to prepare students to be ready for the current market demand and job readiness. The Human Resource Assistant Certificate program will be trained for the Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification. This certification signifies that individual possess the theoretical knowledge and practical experience in human resource management necessary to pass an examination demonstrating a mastery of the body of knowledge in the field. The program includes instruction in personnel and organization policy, human resources dynamics and flows, labor relations, civil rights human resources law and regulations, motivation and compensation systems, work systems, career management, employee testing and assessment, recruitment and selection, managing employee and job training programs, and the management of human resources programs and operations.
