The purpose of this certificate is to prepare students to be ready for the current market demand and job readiness. This certificate includes a curriculum that covers basic principles of accounting, payroll, spreadsheets, and accouting procedures. Other skills acquired will include QuickBooks, Microsoft Word and Excel. This will allow students to master the knowledge of record keeping systems and accounting software. After completion students will be prepared for positions in accounts payable, accounts receivable,data entry, cost accounting and bookkeeping.
