Program Description

Electromechanical Technician is a growing field with a high demand. All manufacturing companies require someone to maintain the equipment on the shop floor in order to reduce down-time. Electromechanical Technicians need a wide range of skills from electrical / hydraulic to PLCs and optical sensors to commercial wiring and everything in between. The Electromechanical Technician Apprenticeship is a three-year program in which students attend courses in shortened semesters of only 8-weeks in the fall and spring. The rest of the year the apprentice receives electromechanical training from a dedicated mentor at the hiring company.
