Application Procedure

A students needs to have a high school education or GED to be able to read & comprehend medical charts. All courses are on line using AAPC, American Academy of Professional Coding curriculum & training materials. Student is required to have a computer or laptop with reliable internet. After course graduation with a 70% score or higher point is eligible to take state exam which requires a score of 70% or higher (state exam voucher included in tuition cost). Practicode an option fee of $249.00 completed after student passes the CPC Exam which will be equivalent to 2 yrs coding experience. Typically done by students with no medical/healthcare experience. The maximum tuition and fees amount approved for this occupation is $5,000.
