Program Description

The University of Illinois at Chicago Tech Bootcamps offer a 26-week part-time, online coding bootcamp that can be completed part-time in 26-weeks or full-time in 12 weeks. Part-Time bootcamp classes meet two weeknights per week and on Saturday mornings. Full-Time clases meet Monday through Friday 9am-3pm. Coding bootcamp students will learn web foundations, including HTML, CSS Flexbox, and DOM. The curriculum covers a full stack JavaScript curriculum, including AJAX, jQuery, Git, SQL and React. All UIC bootcamp students receive career guidance including resume assistance, interview preparation, and professional networking. No prioir knowledge is required for the bootcamps. After submitting an online application, potential students will take a timed nontechnical assesment test covering logical reasoning.

Application Procedure

Prospective students should complete an online application. Applicants will be provided with instructions to take a non-technical timed assessment. No coding experience is required to complete this assessment. Upon completion of the assessment, an entrance decision will be made and communicated to the applicant. In person training will be at University of Illinois Chicago Extended Campus. The maximum tuition and fees amount approved for this occupation is $8,000.
