Program Description
Receptionist training teaches the essential skills of verbal and written communication for clear interaction with customers, vendors and other employees. Students will learn organization skills to keep accurate records, time management skills to help with prioritizing. Students will also learn how to enhance listening and interpersonal skills to respond appropriately to customers that are upset. Typically work for companies across industries to assist customers and employees alike. They
make copies or fax documents. Their job is to manage their office tasks while also answering calls
from customers, answering questions, and helping visitors locate the correct office. They may also
be responsible for taking inventory of office supplies and placing orders accordingly.
