Program Description

This is a Electrocardiogram technician Training Program (known as EKG Technician course) fulfilling the National Healthcareer Association Course Training requirements for EKG Technician training. The course is focus to provide students to learn how to conduct electrocardiogram (EKG) and 12 lead EKG. Students will examine anatomy of the heart and the cardiac system. Students will discover the significance of electrocardiography procedure and interpretation to ensure optimum level of health and the importance of standard guidelines in performing 12-Lead EKG. The course will run for 5 weeks and has 48 hours of Lecture/Skills laboratory instructions and 12 hours of clinical training experience. The course instructions will includes the guidelines of NHA (National Healthcare Association) Curriculum modules.
