Program Description
BOMA/Chicago is Chicagos premier education provider for designation programs in the commercial office property management professionthe Real Property Administrator (RPA), Facilities Management Administrator (FMA), and High Performance (HP) designations and the Certified Manager of Commercial Properties (CMCP) certification. The curriculum for these programs is developed in partnership with BOMA International and taught in Chicago by faculty members who are required to have at least five years of commercial real estate experience, an RPA, FMA, or other applicable trade-related designation, and subject matter expertise.
Our Association offers more than 20 education programs each year, including numerous non-designation programs, such as the Foundations of Real Estate course, customized courses, and seminars to promote ongoing professional development.
Our programs are held virtually and in-person in downtown Chicago locations. The RAP has four employer partners to begin: JLL, Hines, Transwestern, and Sterling Bay
The employers are currently working with City Colleges of Chicago to hire the first four apprentices, who will start working part-time in the employers office buildings in August, 2024
