Program Description

The phlebotomy program provides theory and clinical training which was developed to prepare students fora career as competent healthcare provider. Upon successful completion of the course students will receive a certificate of completion, making them eligible to take the certification examination. Students need a 70% or above to pass both certificate of completion & the certification exam. The program offers both morning and evening classes. The course is 8 weeks, meeting on Monday and Wednesday for mornings, from 9:00a until 1:00p. Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:00p until 9:00p for evenings. The phlebotomy geek program is approved by the IBHE/PBVS Division. Our program has partnered with two certifying agencies, AMT-American Medical Technologist & NHA-National Healthcare Association. Our students also receive CPR Training & Certification with 2nd City CPR & Safety Training.
