Initial contact in Room #4461. Then students will be directed to complete an application and take the ASSET placement assessment. A high school transcript is required. This certificate program provides specialized training for individuals interested in becoming insurance coders in a physicians office, hospital, insurance company or other settings where diagnostic and procedural data are coded for reimbursement purposes. Upon completion of the program the student will be eligible to sit for Certified Coding Associate (CCA) Certification.The maximum tuition and fees amount approved for this occupation is $5,000.
